This is where the rubber meets the road, my T1 story, truths and life on September 10, 2015.
I can hardly contain my excitement. In less than two weeks, you will be able to share the experience of this baby boomer’s fierce, fearless and unfiltered take on life, laughter, a little bit of this and a lot of that on, drum roll please:
That’s right. Starting September 24, I’m boarding the Internet radio airwaves. I’ll have news and views, celebrities and special guests, members of the T1D (type one diabetes) community, a “Supa Dupa” theme by Grammy-award winning jazz musician, composer and producer Wayne Cobham and a trusty assistant on the Tweet deck. You’ve got a ticket to ride this live, fantastic, one-hour journey every Thursday (except holidays), 2 p.m. PT on the Universal Broadcast Network, Channel 2. Listen, call-in or tweet as we explore life in a changing world and a generation that knows how to reinvent themselves.
The show premieres September 24 with Gary Hall, Jr., a recipient of 10 Olympic Gold Medals in swimming and member of both the United States Olympic Hall of Fame and International Swimming Hall of Fame. Find out what Gary’s been diving into of late and what connects us in the Blue Crusade.
I also cannot wait to meet Judith Reich, a member of the T1D community from Las Vegas, Nevada. Judy will join me for a review of type one headlines in the news. We will round out the show with the soapbox, a weekly feature to shout-out or sound-off on a variety of topics. Here is your chance to weigh in on our first two topics.
Shout-out: JDRF Ride to Cure Diabetes
Sound-off – considering my last experience at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center:
I hope you’ll make a date to tune into The Bonnie Sher Show, Boomer Life! Let’s share this fantastic journey.
How was your day?
